My name is Honi Shirley, owner of Cleaning Maid Easy!
I had always been a perfectionist when it came to cleaning my own home. Cleaning has always been something that I’ve been very good at. After settling in the Memphis Area after two decades of globetrotting with my husband, I decided to start my own cleaning business. My husband, after 20 years in the US Army, is also very particular about cleaning and attention to detail. He also has extensive management and business skills acquired through his service in the military and subsequent college education.
I started this company with the mindset that I was going to be cleaning people’s homes, not just their houses. The home has a special meaning to me. Regardless of where in the world I found myself, I took special strides to ensure that the place I was living was home, not just a place I go to when I’m done working. I made it special; I made it home. Unlike the franchises, I understand the importance of the home. We are cleaning the place where you and your family are creating memories, where friends and loved ones spend their time together, a place of joy and happiness, the place where your heart is. It deserves special attention.
That is why I don’t refer to us as house cleaners. We are home cleaners.
